"It’s music that’s very easy to listen to, and we’ve heard it’s been comforting to people and even pets who feel anxious, especially during COVID isolations."

You have triple j's Hottest 100 and 200 and Double J's Hottest 100 of 2002, but what if you're sick of the heat? SBS Chill have you covered with the Chillest 100, a relaxing countdown of tunes voted by listeners.

This year's iteration of the Chillest 100 included Massive Attack, Moby, Groove Armada, Rüfüs Du Sol, Portishead, Mazzy Star, Jose Hernandez, Tycho, and many more. SBS Chill typically features mid-to-downtempo music created by electronic artists, producers, and unsigned DJs.

Rob Miller, the Music Producer of SBS Chill, noted: "We’re excited to celebrate the new year with our listeners who have voted for their top songs – we’ll be counting down all 100 songs from noon on New Year’s Day."

He added that the curation of SBS chill resonates with students and workers of all ages; the radio station can be played on-loop all day. "Every year, we’ve seen SBS Chill grow, and we’ve had amazing feedback from listeners who listen all day while they work or study – teachers have even tuned in to encourage mindfulness in the classroom," Miller said.

"It’s music that’s very easy to listen to, and we’ve heard it’s been comforting to people and even pets who feel anxious, especially during COVID isolations."
