Maggie Collins and Jesse Barbera team up

Leading Brisbane music company Golden District and the management interests of The Fans Group have merged under the Fans Creative Management banner, bringing together clients including DZ Deathrays, Velociraptor and The John Steel Singers.

Golden District’s Maggie Collins is named the Managing Director of the new company after becoming a partner in Jesse Barbera’s Fans Group late last year (both pictured left).

As well as management, Collins and Barbera, who remains The Fans Group’s Managing Director, co-own venues Alhambra Lounge, Brightside and Hotel Metropole and promote events the Blurst Of Times, Stranded and Aloha.

“Jesse and I have been working together for the past couple of years and we finally want to introduce our merger and what Fans Creative Management is, to the world,” said Collins today. “There are big things on the horizon for all of our acts and us as entrepreneurs and music enthusiasts.”
