Melbourne sibling duo Pierce Brothers have joined a roster that includes Foo Fighters and Elvis Presley upon their signing of a European label deal with RCA, an imprint of Sony Music Europe.

The band enjoyed a strong 2014, which included signing a worldwide publishing deal with Mushroom, and will release their second EP this year after independently selling an estimated 40,000 units of their previous EP in the past two years. This deal is the culmination of that momentum and comes as the band have recently finished recording that second EP with Jan Skubiszewski (has worked with The Cat Empire, John Butler Trio and Bonjah).

“When we first heard the urge and energy in It's My Fault we we're sold,” said Sony Music Managing Director Rick Van Schooten. “Pierce Brothers have everything it takes to win over the hearts of anyone who loves real music.

“They are two fantastic guys, passionate musicians who are outstanding live and are about to deliver really strong songs this year. We are thrilled that they choose Sony Music as their partner for Europe. We can't wait to start working with Jack and Pat to connect as many people with their music as possible, with the same energy that makes Pierce Brothers so unique!”

In a joint statement Jack and Pat Pierce add, “Our time over in Europe so far has been awesome! It's so fucking exciting that we’re going to be spending more time there, and they're such a renowned label. With this massive support system in RCA, we can't wait get over there and start spreading the love.”

The band are managed by Regan Lethbridge and David Morgan’s Lemon Tree Music locally, with Plug N Play providing co-managing duties for Europe. In Australia Lethbridge also books the duo through the 123 Agency.

Recently the band have sold out two Corner Hotel shows and attracted big crowds at Falls Festival. They also played to approximately 10,000 people at the Netherlands’ Lowlands festival last year. They will hit the road with Dan Sultan in the coming weeks.
