"I told the production company that I want someone to walk on the ceiling."
Aussie producer M-Phazes isn’t slowing down for a second, today unveiling a dizzying, overwhelming visual masterpiece for his recent single with Silverchair/DREAMS' Daniel Johns.
Premiering today via The Music, the clip for Bad Behaviour compliments the single’s industrial sounds, with director Isaac Bell taking influence from Trainspotting; something that definitely comes through in the “dark, grimey” final product.
“As soon as I heard the track my initial thought was.... I need to direct this video,” Bell said.
“It was funny when I told the production company that I want someone to walk on the ceiling... they gazed at me with worried looks.
“The producer asked, do you know how you want to shoot this? How do you intend to pull this off? To which I replied.... I have no idea...”
But the team pulled it off brilliantly.

Upon the song’s release last week, Johns said it was a ”dangerous, primal track with an urgency about it that inspired me to sing in a way I haven’t explored in a while.”
M-Phazes is up for Engineer Of The Year and Producer Of The Year in the 2018 ARIA Artisan Awards.
