It's a big week for Sydney band Teal, who will officially drop their debut EP Hearth. But before its actual release, you can listen to the five-track collection here on theMusic.com.au.
Hearth is a small but satisfying taste of what this emerging four-piece are made of. And is it just us or does vocalist Joe Surgey have a bit of an Ian Kenny vibe going on?
The release was produced by current The Nerve member Lucius Borich - his first forray into the production side of things since opening Keysound Studios last year. Hearth is available via Bird's Robe Records on Friday 23 August.
You can catch the guys live over the coming weeks at a few of their own shows, as well as support slots for Dumb Blondes and Twelve Foot Ninja. Check theGuide for details.
