Adelaide's 17-year-old songwriter Jesse Davidson has signed a deal with booking agency Select Music as he works towards his debut EP.
Quietly signed by Warner, Davidson played the major label's ARIA Week showcase party last week to introduce himself to the Sydney industry. This latest deal with Select's Rob Giovannoni for bookings in Australia and New Zealand is another main piece of his industry. He is managed by Five Four Entertainment, who also guide Tkay Maizda and Messrs.
A triple j Unearthed High finalist, Davidson is just about finished his EP Ocean and will head out on the road with Mac DeMarco this month.
“He is an immense unique talent that has a massive future in front of him,” said Giovannoni.
Select Music also book Boy & Bear, Andy Bull, RUFUS and The Preatures, amongst others.
