Just ahead of his first international shows next month
Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Fractures has penned a booking deal in the US, ahead of his first run of international shows later this year.
The beat-maker, producer and singer - real name Mark Zito - has joined The Windish Agency, an independent booking organisation that is home to fellow Aussies Chet Faker, Jagwar Ma and Courtney Barnett, as well as Kiwi teenage superstar Lorde and indie favourites Alt-J. He is booked locally by Village Sounds.
The deal's confirmation comes just a month before Zito heads over to America for a handful of showcases in Los Angeles and New York, including the CMJ Music Marathon. After that, the Melburnian will perform in London and Amsterdam, with more overseas dates to be announced shortly.
Zito, who released his self-titled EP a couple of months back, will perform on home soil at the BIGSOUND conference next week.
