Chugg’s roster expands with the Sydney group, whose signing is announced today.
The roster of Chugg Entertainment's Chugg Music arm continues to expand, with the signing of Sydney indie rock group Deep Sea Arcade announced this afternoon.
Deep Sea Arcade released their debut LP Outlands through Ivy League last year after issuing a stack of singles since their 2008 formation and have enjoyed small amounts of success in international markets, while maintaining a strong fan base in Australia.
The band are currently in the UK, working on the follow up to Outlands which is due in the early part of next year.
Speaking about the signing, Michael Chugg expressed his excitement at being associated with what he calls “one of the best bands in Australia.

“Deep Sea Arcade are one of the best bands in Australia, and we're very excited to be working with them, along with the rest of our Chugg Music roster,” Chugg said. “They have been selling out shows all over Europe and playing the biggest festivals. It won't be long before the whole world knows them and we're pretty excited to be a part of it.”
Deep Sea Arcade will be back in Australia in September for a national tour. They will join a roster that features Lime Cordiale, The Griswolds, Hey Geronimo and Sheppard.
