Briese Abbott and Rowan Brand to guide promising young outfit
Brisbane indie outfit Cub Scouts have signed a management deal with Briese Abbott and Rowan Brand on the back of a hyped start to the year.
Abbott currently manages PVT and Elizabeth Rose as part of her Spark And Opus roster, is Vice Chairperson of the Association Of Artist Managers, while Brand is now London-based managing Sydney's Tigertown and England's Bear's Den. He was formally a co-manager of Boy & Bear.
The band's vocalist Tim Nelson said today, “We are so excited to welcome Briese and Rowan to the team. It's a really great time for the band right now and to know we have the benefit of not one great manager, but two making sure we stay on track is such a great thing.”
Brand added, “I have been watching Cub Scouts for well over a year now and was immediately drawn to their amazing ability with songs. I immediately knew that Briese and I would make a great team to not only capitalise on their success at home, but also the growing buzz overseas and I'm so excited about what we can all achieve together.”
