Australian indie dance maestro Sir Winston has shared more insight into his debut single Everybody Must Dance with the release of three remixes of the song.
The debut single from the New York-based artist dropped last week, and was featured in commercials from Victoria’s Secret, Maybelline and Nike towards the end of last year.
“The song is a fairytale - about being in love, adventure and the rhythm of life,” Sir Winston said.
Of the remixes, he told The Music: "The remixes are all different styles but all share the same fun upbeat quality - they need to be played loud - we want you to get on your feet and dancing"
One of the remixes, titled Refascinated, is from Fascinator, aka Children Collide’s Johnny Mackay.
“Lord Fascinator puts a trippy spin on the track with his mix, a psychedelic journey that has a killer fast groove and lots of fun weirdness,” Sir Winston said.
The David Bowie’s Eyes remix “pays homage to the amazing greatness of David Bowie”.
“We wanted to create something that was deep and sexy to start, with a euphoric moment with the crowd cheering and then driving home with bigger beats and shouting ‘David Bowie’ in a celebration.”
And the final remix from Nadi “rocks from the get-go and is a fun, upbeat mix that is meant to get you on your feet with a smile on your face and hands in the air”.
Everybody Must Dance is the first single taken from Sir Winston’s forthcoming debut album.
