File this under the weird and wacky, although it's the Internet so we acknowledge the phrase is also highly redundant.
An eBay user is reportedly selling the inmate ID card of former As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis. The shamed musician is currently incarcerated in a US prison serving time for solicitation of murder.
The sale item (found here) is live for another six days, with a description reading:
"[The] Current owner (who wishes to remain anonymous) of this article was incarcerated with Tim and befriended him. When asked by Tim what he could do for his close friend (and self-claimed biggest fan!), this identification card was given to him by request. There is only one like it... outside of prison, that is."
Lambgoat first reported the news, observing the starting bid was set at $500.
This seems a textbook case of buyer beware, however, the question begs, why would anyone want to purchase this regardless?
