Entries for the Melbourne Prize for Music 2016 & Awards open today, which provides opportunities for Victorian musicians, performers and composers across all genres and stages of their career.

This year the judging panel has expanded and so has the number of awards, with two extra awards added for a total value of $45,000. 

The 2016 judging panel includes Patrick Donovan, Paul Grabowsky AO, Genevieve Lacey, Marshall McGuire, Helen Marcou and Ronald Vermeulen.
