Sydney deathcore outfit Enfield have announced they're calling it a day.

A statement, posted via Facebook last night, reads:

"Hi everyone,

We have decided that Enfield will no longer be continuing as a band.

Don't miss a beat with our FREE daily newsletter

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way, bought our music, came to a show and put us on shows. Without you guys, we wouldn't have had the opportunities to play with some of our favourite bands.

Shout out to all the promoters and agents who have helped us along the way and especially to Dan Field at Skull and Bones Records / The Lab Nightclub for everything he has done for us. We are extremely grateful!

This will be our last show ever so come down, say goodbye and throw down!"

You can find the details for the show here.

Local acts left, right and centre seem to be disbanding, with Glorified, First Sight, Confession all deciding to throw in the towel over the past couple weeks.
