Their new album 'Something Is Going to Change Tomorrow, Today. What Will You Do? What Will You Say?' is out this Friday.
Melbourne songwriting duo Emma Russack & Lachlan Denton have announced a brand new album set for release this Friday, with their latest single Authenticity coming out today.
The third single released from their forthcoming LP, Something Is Going to Change Tomorrow, Today. What Will You Do? What Will You Say?, sees the duo getting jangly with their guitars while lamenting the desire for something more human and real. Check it out below:
The pair also recently released the track Done My Time from their new release, with Russack explaining the tune is a personal pining for loved ones during these difficult times when seeing them may not be an option.
"My family don't live in Melbourne, they’re a 9-10 hour drive away," she said. "I miss them a lot and sometimes fantasise about moving back home. But the reality is that I’ve made a life for myself in Melbourne and it would be hard for me to get a job in my hometown. Anyway, this song is about fleeing the “rat race” in search of a simpler existence. Classic."
