Do you love electronic muisc? Do you want to get to know some of Australia’s biggest rising stars on the EDM scene? Well Sydney’s Electronic Music Conference (EMC) is back for its fifth year and is bringing a stellar lineup with it.
EMC is all about bringing Australian music lovers together to take part in a series of panels, workshops and master classes that open the big wide world of electronic to the public. It includes talks from Mirik Milan (Amsterdam’s Night Mayor), Martin Phillips (Bionic League), Patrick Donovan (Music Victoria) and Raj Chaudhuri (Boiler Room) amongst many other.
But the activities just scratch the surface of what’s to come, there’s also a series of kick ass parties that will see Australia’s biggest rising electronic stars hit the stage. After wrapping up his Australian/NZ tour, Queensland producer PACES will be making an appearance alongside triple j Unearthed NIMA competition winner Kuren and brother sister duo Lastlings, you hooked yet?

Lower Spectrum, Human Movement, Made In Paris, The Tapes and Tina Says add to the lineup of sparkling talent alongside Tigerilla and Alice Ivy who’ve just wrapped up tour supports with the likes of Urthboy, Nicole Miller (At Troy Sivan's ‘Blue Neighbourhood’ tour) and Banoffee; safe to say it’s going to be a star studded event.
The man behind the magic, Dave Howe says he “couldn't be more stoked to share the first lineup announcement for this year's EMCPlay featuring a couple of favourite faces and some emerging stars who we reckon will define the future sound of Australian electronic music.”
The party kicks off November 28th, finishing up on December the 2nd at Sydneys prestige Ivy Complex. Can’t imagine tickets will last long so get ya early birds now, here!
