Poor ticket sales the reason behind the decision
The upcoming Adelaide show from Elvis Costello & The Imposters has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
Chugg Entertainment confirmed the news today in a statement regarding the Thebarton Theatre show, which said "less than anticipated ticket sales have unfortunately made it impossible to proceed." Details on how to refund tickets to the Adelaide show can be found here.
A Melbourne performance has been confirmed though, with the legendary musician set to play at Hamer Hall on Thursday 17 April (the original date for Adelaide) and tickets for this show go on sale next Thursday 6 February at 9am.
Costello is heading our way for several festival appearances this April including Bluesfest and Deni Blues & Roots.
