Elton John To Release New Album 'The Diving Board'

Elton John is set to make a triumphant return with his first solo release since 2006, The Diving Board.

The album has been produced by T-Bone Burnett, the man behind some of Elton's most acclaimed work and is set for release on Friday 13 September. All tracks on The Diving Board were written by John and longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin. Reminiscent of his early records, you can expect a return to gospel, country and blues on this one.

Having worked with PNAU, Fall Out Boy and most recently Queens of The Stone Age, John's musical sensibility is at a high point. The first track Home Again recently made its UK radio debut.
