Elton John Adds Tasmania To Australian Tour

Elton John has announced another gig for his forthcoming Australian tour, adding a date for Launceston's Silverdome on Tuesday 20 November.

Promoter Michael Chugg, himself from Tasmania, said, "I couldn't be more excited about playing a part in bringing Elton to Launceston.  He performed there solo a few years back and blew the crowd away – I can't even imagine how big it's going to be with his awesome band!"

Opening for John will be Croatian cello duo 2CELLOS.

Elton John's new album of old songs reimagined by Australia's Pnau, Good Morning To The Night,  has debuted at 40 on the Australian ARIA charts today.
