Electric Lady Release 'Live Sessions' Tracks Ahead Of Debut Shows

Ahead of their debut shows in the coming months, all-female movement Electric Lady are releasing some 'Live Sessions' cover tracks. 

The group, which includes Alex Lahey, Ali Barter, Bec Sandridge, Gretta Ray, Jack River, Body Type and Rackett, will take turns in covering each other's work, with the most recent featuring Ray taking on River's Talk Like That.

Electric Lady will play at Sydney's Metro Theatre on Friday, 30 June, before moving on to Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Saturday, 1 July. 

"The last year in music, politics, and culture made me realise the time is now for this idea," River said of the newly-formed group. 

"Girls are ready to amplify their talent alongside each other and the world is ready for diversity in female role models."
