Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has announced Irish musician Glen Hansard as his support act for his upcoming solo tour.
The balladeer and Vedder are good mates and have collaborated and performed with one another on several occasions and Hansard is also heading out here in March for two of his own shows at the Sydney Opera House, so this might give more Aussies a chance to get familiar with his music before then.
All of Vedder's solo shows have already sold-out.
Pearl Jam will play at the Adelaide Big Day Out tonight, with the festival tour finishing up in Perth this Sunday.
