UPDATED: More Names Announced For Eclipse2012

13 July 2012 | 4:01 pm | Dan Condon

Seven days of going nuts in the bush just got even more awesome.

More Tipper More Tipper

Roughly one billion acts have been announced for the Eclipse2012 festival now, and we've got them all listed here for your enjoyment.

If you're not familiar with it, the festival is a week long event encompassing heavenly music, inspiring art and soul aligning workshops, all happening in Far North Queensland, a couple of hours north of Cairns. Presented by Rainbow Serpent Festival (Australia), Symbiosis Gathering (USA), Glade Festival (UK) and Mother (Japan), it coincides with a total solar eclipse happening in Northern Australia in the early hours of Wednesday 14 November.

A couple of the big gets for the festival include names like Optimo, Fat Freddy's Drop, Freq Nasty and Tipper; but we're willing to bet that if dance music is your thing, there's going to be something for you here.

EDIT: Festival organisers released a statement this morning in which they admitted that a eight acts who were announced for the festival had not, in fact, confirmed they would accept the offer to play. Below we have crossed out the names of the artists who are not yet confirmed, but who the festival hope will come onboard soon.

It happens here from Saturday 10 November through to Friday 16. Get your tickets from here.
