Ecca VandalMelbourne electro enigma Ecca Vandal has two bits of news to reveal to the world today — first, that she'll be supporting Scottish hip hop group Young Fathers on their upcoming tour, and second, that she has a shiny new single to release called End Of Time.
Likened to everyone from M.I.A. to Sex Pistols to Gwen Stefani, the new track is a grimy number with a fantastic hook that's sure to be a hit when she plays live with Young Fathers in January.
She says of End Of Time, "It’s about being committed to something for life… no matter how unattainable it is, no matter how much you sacrifice. And that thing that takes hold of you can be a blessing and curse."
She'll open the stage for the trio at Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday, 5 January as well as Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Thursday, 7 January.
