Dylan Alcott Announces Huge Ability Fest Lineup Featuring Australia's Biggest Acts

Ability Fest have today revealed their massive 2023 line up featuring some of the biggest acts in Australia. The event will take place on the 25th of March at Birrarung Marr in Naarm / Melbourne.

Hilltop Hoods, daine, Alter Boy, Sampa The Great, Meg Mac, BROODS, SHOUSE, DZ Deathrays, Telenova, Alex Lahey and many more will perform at the festival, which is proudly touted as Australia's first all accessible music festival.

Joining them on the dance stage includes Mashd N Kutcher, PARIS, dameeeela, Linda Marigliano, Tyson O’Brien, Juno Mamba, Latifa Tee, Mulalo and Tiff Cornish.

Patrons can expect unique experiences and unforgettable music performances across two stagues, with the added bonus of their festival site, Birrarung Marr being transformed into a completely accessible venue. It will feature elevated platforms, pathways, a dedicated sensory area, quiet zones, companion ticketing, ramps, friendly volunteers, Auslan interpreters, accessible toilets and more to ensure that the music can be enjoyed by everyone.

On the festival Alcott states, “I’m so proud to see the path Ability Fest has already paved for inclusive events across the country. First and foremost, our main priority is to create a kick-ass festival that happens to be accessible. And that’s something I think we’ve achieved since launching in 2018.”

Ability Fest was created by 2022 Australian of the year Dylan Alcott alongside Untitled Group. Since its inception, Ability Fest has hosted some of the biggest names in music and raised just shy of $500,0000 for the Dylan Alcott Foundation.

Pre-sale ticket registration closes at 4pm on the 23rd of January with tickets on sale from 6pm on the 23rd of January. General tickets go on sale on midday on the 24th of January.
