Brisbane duo DUNE RATS are preparing to drop their much-awaited second EP ‘Social Atoms’ this month and sending a call out to fans up and down the east coast to help them get the party started on their September launch tour.
Formed in late 2010, the talented duo of Danny Beus (Villians of Wilhelm) and BC Michaels (The Cairos/Comic Sans) has experienced a groundswell of support from critics, bloggers and fans alike.
Yet to blow out the candles on their first birthday cake, Dune Rats! celebrate with a select number of dates in Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Goldcoast, Toowoomba Brisbane and Byron Bay.
“It’s been a hectic year, and we’re amazed and stoked at the attention we have been getting".
“After releasing our debut EP we realised that Dune Rats was going to be more hectic than we originally thought. We threw ourselves into it, got a heap of awesome support slots and blog mentions, and hopefully we can repeat that success with ‘Social Atoms’,” said party-time drummer, BC Michaels.
