"Hi. This is Richard (co-owner of Drive-Thru) and I am looking for a singer for a band I manage. I need someone with a lot of versatility in their vocals-it would be great if you can sing anything from Journey to Kelly Clarkson to Jimmy Eat World. This band is going to be based 95% around touring and 5% around recording. It's going to be a low pressure, really fun project.

Drive-Thru Records co-owner Richard Reines is looking for a singer for ones of his bands. Have you got what it takes?

REQUIREMENTS: 18-25 years old, can and will be able to tour all year, great stage presence, playing another instrument is a plus but not required. The band is based in Thousand Oaks, CA. You would either need to live in the area or be able to move out here in the next month or so. We can talk about housing if you are chosen.

If you have your own solo project or band going and you won't be able to give it up, please don't contact us for this particular position. If you can't leave school and give this a shot for at least 1 year, then please don't reply either. You also have to realize that being in a band isn't instant fame or money that only happens to 1 random band every year or two-this is not one of those bands! There is a lot of hard work and it takes some time. This particular project will happen faster than most bands, but still not instant.

To audition, please send a link of you covering any song that shows your range/comfort zone (preferably a link to a YouTube video). If you don't know anyone who has a video camera or webcam or phone that tapes video, then get out of the dark ages! haha. think of another way to get us a photo and a cover song. You don't need a band to play the song- you can do an acoustic version, acapella version, buy a Karoke version on itunes and sing to it, or you can play the song in the background and just sing over it as long as you are much louder than the song so we can hear it.

**********Please don't send it to the drive-thru account. Send it to myspace.com/crashingcarsrock********

If you can have this to us by June 1st that would be great. If you need a couple of extra days, that's alright.

If we like your style for this particular project we will get back to you in a week or two at the latest.

Thanks very much for reading this!

Richard"
