Dream Rimmy, a band hailing from the Western regions of the country, have been described as 'the cream of the crop' of young bands that are taking over the local scene. The talented group are now taking the next step in developing their avant-garde and experimental music, by releasing new single Waves.
The launch will be at The Bird on 20 Feb and include support acts from Diger Rockwell, Regular Boys and Pool Boy. The self-produced single is mastered by Rob Grant and will drop on 19 Feb.
Since forming in 2014, the band have already had various successes in their short-lived career, like being nominated for Most Popular New Act at the West Australian Music Awards, supporting bands The Preatures and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, earning a slot at the State Of The Art Festival, and having three tracks from their debut EP on RTR-FM's 100 most played songs of 2015.
