New Zealand's Drax Project have inked a huge publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Australia

The signing will see UMPG Australia hold exclusive publishing rights in Australia and New Zealand to the multiplatinum-selling Wellington group who have already racked up over 60 million Spotify streams for their hit Woke Up Late which was re-released this year with Hailee Steinfeld.

Since the release of Woke Up Late, the band have been enjoying success as the track was selected as Zane Lowe's World Record and Amazon's "Song Of The Day". 

They released their self-titled debut album on 27 September. 

“We've loved working with Universal as our label in Australasia for the last couple years and are stoked to now be part of the UMPG family too," the band shared of the signing.
