The gig was immediately called off.
A Snoop Dogg concert in New Jersey was cancelled on Friday immediately after the front railing in the crowd collapsed injuring more than 40 people.
As Fairfax reports, the US rapper was performing at the BB&T Pavilion with fellow hip hop artist Wiz Khalifa when the partition separating the stage and crowd fell through, sending 42 punters crashing to the concrete floor.
Both Snoop Dogg and Khalifa were rushed off stage and the show was called off.
At least 20 were taken to hospital following the accident, mostly for broken bones, while one person is currently in a critical condition.
