More Queen More Queen

Adam Lambert has come a long since his American Idol days. Now the frontman of one of the world's most iconic groups, Lambert has certainly made the most his time with Queen

Ahead of the group's Australian tour, which is on sale today, we've taken a look back at Lambert's best five Queen albums.

1. Keeping his cool at the Oscars

It surely wouldn't be an easy feat to perform at the Academy Awards on a regular day, let alone when the biopic about your band and its original, legendary frontman is up for all of the awards. Nonetheless, Lambert delivered We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. We especially like Christian Bale smiling on like a proud parent in the audience.

2. Killing his Aussie tours

Lambert's gained a stack of fans each Australian tour and it's not hard to see why. The Music reviewer Jessica Paterson summed it up pretty well in 2014 saying, "He may not be Freddie Mercury, but Lambert oozed the sex appeal, stage presence and soaring vocals that characterised him". A sentiment that carried on around the country with each tour.

3. The Bohemian Rhapsody surprise cameo

Did you spot Lambert in the Freddie Mercury Bohemian Rhapsody biopic? This is what you need to know if you didn't.

4. This huge performance

Don't stop him noooow...

5. When it become very apparent he was the right choice to join Queen

Lambert performed with the group during his American Idol stint a decade ago and TBH, we really should have known then...
