British rapper Dizzee Rascal will return to Australia in February 2025 and offer his epically titled We Want Bass tour.

The tour announcement arrives after the Bonkers rapper – who was pivotal in London’s grime scene – recently wrapped up a successful UK tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of his iconic album, Tongue ‘N Cheek. For the Australian dates, Rascal will be playing the hits from throughout his expansive catalogue.

The We Want Bass tour begins at the Forum, Melbourne, on Saturday, 1 February. From there, Rascal will head to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre for a show on Tuesday, 4 February, then Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Wednesday, 5 February, and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, 7 February.

My Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets on Thursday, 31 October, at 10 am local time. General sale tickets will be available from 11 am on Friday, 1 November. You can find more ticketing information on the Live Nation website.

Rascal, one of the most acclaimed and influential rappers in the UK, won the prestigious Mercury Prize for his 2003 debut, Boy In Da Corner, which was released when he was just 18 years old.

Throughout his career, Rascal has worked with artists such as Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, and Shakira. Earlier this year, he released a grime-inspired LP with Don’t Take It Personal.
