It's coming...
Disney has confirmed its new streaming service, Disney+, will launch in Australia this year.
As noted by TV Tonight, the service will be one of the cheapest on offer ($8.99 a month) when it launches in the country on 19 November, just one week after it hits the US and Canada.
Disney+ is expected to feature all of the Disney and Pixar classics, as well as the first six films of the Star Wars franchise and Marvel favourites such as Avengers, and reimagined movies including the recently-discussed Home Alone reboot.
While local service Stan already has a deal in place to stream Disney and Marvel works, TV Tonight reports that the Nine-owned company are in talks with Disney.
Meanwhile, Foxtel are reportedly eyeing to screen Disney+ content through its IQ feature.
