Dinosaur JrEvergreen indie rockers Dinosaur Jr. are still pumping out some of the best music of their long and storied career, ensuring that their appeal is still relevant to the newest generation of both bands and punters who are currently coming through the ranks.
Most fans of the group are already well aware of the somewhat checkered history of the group – particularly the strained relationship between bandleader J Mascis and bassist Lou Barlow – and Mascis' unwillingness to divulge much about anything at all to the media. This makes the idea of a new book about the band a very appealing prospect.
The coffee table book promises an “oral history of the band as told by J, Lou, Murph and their closest friends and allies” and looks to feature a whole stack of exclusive photographs and interviews from throughout the 30 years since the band first began.
