Canadian metal band Despised Icon will hit the studio next month to record the follow up to 2007's 'The Ills of Modern Man'. The band commented on the new album, saying "We're almost done writing and the new shit is packed with brutality."

The new record will be produced by former guitarist Yannick St-Amand (Beneath The Massacre), mixed by Zeuss (Hatebreed), and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge).
