Dermot KennedyIrish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy is returning to Australia and New Zealand in November, today announcing an expansive tour across the region.
Touring in support of his newly released album, The Weight of the Woods – his third consecutive #1 album in the UK and his native Ireland – Kennedy will embark on his largest Australian tour to date.
He returns Down Under for the first time since March 2025, when he headlined his inaugural MISNEACH Festival at Sydney’s The Domain. Before MISNEACH – curated by Kennedy – he last presented a headline tour of Australia in late 2023, which also included appearances at Spilt Milk Festival.
The tour commences at Perth’s Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Saturday, 14 November. It continues at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Tuesday, 17 November, Sydney’s TikTok Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 18 November, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, 21 November, and concludes at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre on Sunday, 22 November.
Following the Australian dates, Kennedy will perform in New Zealand. Those shows will take place at the Christchurch Town Hall on Wednesday, 25 November, Wellington’s TSB Arena on Friday, 27 November, and Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, 28 November.
