Depp joins Black Keys for one night only

Johnny Depp was provided with another opportunity to live out his rockstar fantasies, hooking up with The Black Keys in one of the more special moments of the MTV Awards this week.

As bookends to the receiving of the Generation Award, Depp strapped on a guitar and joined Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney (and the rest of their live band) on stage to perform 'Gold On The Ceiling' and 'Lonely Boy'.  Depp proved to be more than capable of holding his own with the band.

This performance follows hot on the heels of his recent appearance alongside Marilyn Manson.  Depp is no stranger to teaming up with the big acts, famously adding slide guitar on Oasis' album 'Be Here Now'.
