UPDATE: Debut Oz Tour For Norwegian Duo Nico And Vinz In November postponed

Concert tour postponed, but they're still coming for promo duties

More Nico & Vinz Nico & Vinz Profile

Afro-Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz have announced their first Australian tour in November.

Nico Sereba, whose family is from The Ivory Coast, and Vincent Dery, whose roots are Ghanaian - were still calling themselves Envy when they had their breakout hit Am I Wrong in 2013. They changed their name to Nico & Vinz when they signed with US label Warner Bros as there was a US group already using Envy. The name change proved no hindrance as the single became the #1 most-added record in the US Top 40, as well as becoming the single most Shazamed song worldwide. Am I Wrong currently boasts more than 115 million streams.

Nico & Vinz's latest single, That's How You Know (ft. Kid Ink & Bebe Rexha), another slice of the heady mix of pop to reggae, West African dance to hip hop, rock to soul that marks out their music, is the perfect lead into the duo's first visit to Australia in November.

UPDATE: A statement from the promoters have said that due to an extension of recording commitments in the USA, Nico & Vinz have been forced to dramatically reduce the time available to visit Australia and New Zealand. The previously announced tour dates will not proceed, however Nico & Vinz will still visit Australia and New Zealand this November to undertake promotional activity in support of their new album.
