11 December 2018 | 9:00 am | Staff Writer

So... not bad then.

More Dean Lewis More Dean Lewis

Just under six months since its release, Dean Lewis' hit track Be Alright has officially cracked half a billion streams globally.

The song, which scored Best Video at last month's ARIA Awards, is also currently the second-most Shazamed song worldwide and the second-most streamed Australian track on Spotify in 2018.

Thanks to it cracking the coveted Billboard Top 100 list (currently placed at #65), Be Alright has today received Gold certification by RIAA in the US.

It comes after the Sydney songwriter's latest single went x4 Platinum in Australia, as well as Silver in the UK and x2 Platinum in Ireland, Norway and Sweden.

Lewis is in the midst of a sold out Australian headline tour and will next perform in Brisbane tonight; for a look at all of the upcoming shows, check out theGuide or scroll down.
