The San Franciscan legends have four shows lined up Down Under this June

More Deafheaven More Deafheaven

Californian blackgaze heavyweights Deafheaven have bolstered their just-announced appearance at this year's Vivid LIVE event in Sydney with a handful of headline capital-city dates this June.

Following their appearance at Sydney's Joan Sutherland Theatre on Thursday 2 June, the veteran outfit — freshly riding the momentum of last year's acclaimed full-length New Bermuda — will hit up Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Friday 3 June, Brisbane's Crowbar on Saturday 4 June, and head across to Perth to wrap up with a WA Day showing at the Rosemount Hotel on Monday 6 June.

It's not been too long since we last saw Deafheaven on our shores — they were here in January 2014 — but with another whole album under their belts since their last visit (when they were still touting the brilliance of 2013's lauded Sunbather LP), fans new and old alike can expect to be treated to a wide-ranging, authoritative and polished performance from a globally recognised outfit that seldom disappoints when fully in thrall to their passion.

Tickets for all shows are available now via Handsome ToursNew Bermuda is out now on Anti- Records.
