Dead Letter Circus Announce Second Album

The Catalyst Fire is to be released through UNFD.

More Dead Letter Circus Dead Letter Circus Profile

Brisbane based hard rockers Dead Letter Circus will release their second LP The Catalyst Fire through UNFD on Friday 9 August, they have announced this afternoon. It has been around three years since they dropped their massive debut LP This Is The Warning, which saw them peak at second position on the ARIA album charts and has since achieved gold sales status.

As one would expect, album number two sees the band progress musically while keeping all of that intensity and energy that have made them so well loved over the past few years. They have spent nine months or so writing and recording the album, once again utilising the services of Forrester Savell to make them sound as robust as they do.

The album might be over a month off, but fans can get amongst a special Facebook app called Project Dead Letter II: The Inner Circle from Wednesday onwards, which will deliver a special little piece of information about the record every day for 38 days before the LP drops. Fans can also look forward to hearing the first single Lodestar next Thursday afternoon.

No doubt there is plenty more info to come, so get excited if you can't get enough DLC action.
