Dead Letter Circus announce new album, release trailer

Australian alternative rockers Dead Letter Circus have announced details regarding their new studio album.

Sophomore album, ‘The Catalyst Fire’ will hit stores on August 9 via UNFD.

A follow-up to 2010’s well-received, ‘This Is the Warning’, the full-length's first single, ‘Lodestar’ will premiere on triple j‘s 'Drive With The Doctor' on Thursday 4 July at 4pm.

Dead Letter Circus have spent the last nine months writing and recording The Catalyst Fire with long-term producer and collaborator Forrester Savell. Comprising of 11 tracks, the album marks a clear progression of the traditional DLC sound, while retaining the energy and intensity they are known and loved for.

Additionally, a free Facebook app will be unveiled next Wednesday (3/7) entitled, 'Project Dead Letter II: The Inner Circle'. The App will deliver fans a piece of quality content related to the album every day, for the 38 days leading up to the release.
