David Gray Announces 2025 Australian Tour

British singer-songwriter David Gray will return to Australia this November, returning Down Under three years after his sold-out arena run in 2022.

With his Past & Present World Tour, Gray brings with him new music (his latest album, Dear Life, was released in January), which has been described as the “deepest, strangest, loveliest” piece of art he’s released in his career. Gray promises fans a two-hour live show filled with classics along with new music.

The tour begins at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Tuesday, 4 November, followed by Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Friday, 7 November, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Sunday, 9 November, Sydney’s State Theatre on Wednesday, 12 November, and concludes at Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall on Saturday, 15 November.

Gray, an artist admired by Adele, Hozier, and Ed Sheeran, said of his new music, “I’m feeling very joyful about the act of making and sharing this music—and privileged to be doing so.

“I don’t know what people will make of it. But I have the same hopes and dreams whenever I release a record – that if you try and do something special, then maybe something magical will happen in return.”
