Superstar Dave Grohl is up to his old tricks again with yet another supergroup to be debuted at Sundance Film Festival later this month.

They have been dubbed the Sound City Players, and will be comprised of various figures involved in the now defunct Sound City studio in California, where Nirvana's monumental Nevermind was recorded.

The festival also marks Grohl's first foray into film as he debuts his documentary about the former studio, featuring many of the afformentioned guests above, and will include Trent Reznor, Stevie Nicks, and Josh Homme.
