Dashboard Confessional's new album is to be released in a 2-disc deluxe edition, with a bonus CD containing acoustic versions of the album's 12 songs.

Dashboard Confessional's new album Alter The Ending is to be released in a 2-disc deluxe edition, with a bonus CD containing acoustic versions of the album's 12 songs.

 

Chris Carraba had this to say about the decision: "Making an electric and acoustic version of an album was an idea we'd kicked around for a couple years... most of my songs start out as acoustic songs anyway, so it wasn't a real stretch."

 

"There are always those people who prefer us acoustic. Now they don't have to choose one or the other."
