The Northern Territory's largest music festival, Bassinthegrass, has announced that it will be shifting to a later date in the year.
The 18th iteration of the Mindil Beach-based all-ages event was originally slated for 23 May, but to reflect "the Federal Government’s precautionary measures to slow down the spread of COVID-19", it will now take place on Saturday 31 Oct.
Organisers have stated that all original tickets are still valid for the new date, and that at this stage they believe the line-up will remain largely unchanged outside of the possible addition of "some new, exciting acts".
The initial line-up featured a stack of artists from around the nation, including Missy Higgins, Odette, The Jungle Giants and more.
