Darwin Festival Announce Third Act For 2016

Internationally renowned stand-up comedian Steve Hughes has been announced as the third act to join the crowd funding campaign for Darwin Festival, as money is currently being raised for 504 new chairs for the festival.

The event needs to raise at least $15,000 for the cause, although 133 supporters have already pledged a combined total of $15,727 over the past three weeks.

Artistic Director Andrew Ross said of the campaign, "We’ve had an outstanding response from people we know are our loyal festival-goers..."

"We will reward our audience for their support with artists featuring in this year’s program of events."

Darwin Festival early release events are on sale from Thursday 28 April.
