"This is a huge challenge for me in many ways."
Just when you think you've seen it all at Eurovision, Darude goes ahead and joins the competition.
The veteran DJ will represent Finland at the global singing competition as a duo alongside vocalist Sebastian Rejman.
Next month, the pair will release three new tracks with one to be selected for the May event in Israel.
”This is a huge challenge for me in many ways,” Darude said in a statement.
“When I was asked to represent Finland I felt a bit scared at first, but there was no way I could say no to my country! It is an honour to be part of this incredible experience and I only have positive expectations!"

Coincidentally, 2019 also marks the 20th anniversary of Darude's iconic track, Sandstorm.
The news comes after Killing Heidi's Ella Hooper and Bachelor Girl's Tania Doko were announced as the final participants in the local Eurovision: Australia Decides event next month, with the winner to go on to represent Australia at this year's competition.
They'll compete against the likes of Kate Miller-Heidke and Sheppard on the Gold Coast from 8-9 February.
