Lawd help me. Dance Gavin Dance have a new track out called Synergy and it features Rob Damiani from Don Broco, closing the loop from when Tilian featured on Don Broco's Action alongside a slew of others as well. I am an unashamed simp for DGD - and this tickles me RIGHT WHERE IT FEELS A LITTLE BIT NAUGHTY TO DO SO.
So, permit me a quick minute of simping here - DGD have a new single out today called Synergy and it features Rob from Don Broco too.
I haven't been on the DGD train for their entire existence, mind, merely since vocalist Tilian Pearson joined the group. Now, there are some who would say that I am a Johnny-Come-Lately, and you'd be right, but damn son, I will actually fight and die on this hill, Tilian Era is Best Era DGD. Flame me, sure, whatever, but I back it. Anyway, throw in Rob Damiani from Don Broco on this track and hot-damn, you have also stirred in another favourite artist from the past couple of years as well. And sure enough, the result of this tasty pudding is that it is GOD. DAMN. DELICIOUS.
Jon Mess brings his signature quirky staccato weirdness, Will Swan brings the prescribed widdly-widdlies and IT'S ALL THERE FOLKS. Just get your ears around it.
It's their first new music in almost 2 years and it comes accompanied by an official music video. It's also the first to feature fan favourite guitarist, Andrew Wells, as an official, full-time member of the band. Find "Synergy" on streaming platforms HERE.
Apparently, we can expect more new Dance Gavin Dance music soon, which, you know, makes me feel tingly in a good place.
