21 July 2014 | 9:00 am | Staff Writer

Third ticket release will be available until September 1

Award-winning country-soul rock’n’roller Dan Sultan, fellow acclaimed outfit Husky and Melbourne mainstays The Delta Riggs lead the charge among the newly announced crop of acts set to join the Queenscliff Music Festival this November.

The revelation comes as the annual event announces that its third ticket release is now under way, and will remain on-sale until September 1 or when supplies run out.

Also appearing alongside previously announced acts (such as the church, The Jezabels, Kasey Chambers and Xavier Rudd) at the festival, from November 28 to 30, will be acts such as West Australian blues-and-roots crew Blue Shaddy, the triple-pronged powerhouse of Mia Dyson, Liz Stringer and Jen Cloher performing together as Dyson Stringer Cloher, the nu-school breaks of Gold Coast-based fun factory Tijuana Cartel, the positively on-fire Tkay Maidza, freshly minted Glastonbury veterans Shaolin Afronauts, rising troubadour Steve Smyth, and Melody Pool’s current touring partner Marlon Williams.

Queenscliff Music Festival has also announced a new Sunday Ferry & Ticket package for $90 an adult, which includes a return foot-passenger ticket on the Mornington Peninsula-Queenscliff ferry, as well as a Sunday festival ticket.
