Dan Sultan Announces Return With Intimate Solo Gigs

ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Dan Sultan will return to the live circuit at the end of the year with a run of solo shows.

The news follows on from an onstage meltdown in Cairns back in June, which Sultan himself labelled "inexcusable and disrespectful" before postponing the remaining dates on his Killer Australian tour.

After taking some time out, Sultan’s reportedly happy, healthy and ready to get back on the road with a fresh and positive energy, some old classics and new surprises.

He’ll get reacquainted with fans at Melbourne’s Esplanade Hotel on Nov 30 and Dec 1 before taking on Brisbane’s Old Museum Concert Hall on Dec 7, Rosemount Hotel, Perth on Dec 13 and The Gov, Adelaide on Dec 14.

Sultan’s spent recent weeks in the studio working on numerous tunes, including a duet with Irish troubadour Damien Dempsey and a special cover for an album that celebrates the songs that have helped shape indigenous identity and culture in Australia.
