The line-up for the 38th annual Port Fairy Folk Festival has grown considerably today, with over twenty more acts added to the event.

There are a handful of international names in this new list including Dublin singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey and Scotland's Breabach, but there are plenty of locals in the mix too in the shape of Mama Kin, Bruce Mathiske, Shane Nicholson and John Patrick & The Keepers.

Here is the full list of new acts:

Breabach, Damien Dempsey, Love Over Gold, The Good Lovelies, Hanggai, The Jammin' Divas, Bruce Mathiske, Claymore, Cole & Van Dijk, Deborah Conway & Willy Zygier, John Patrick & The Keepers, Mama Kin, Nick Charles, Oh Pep!, Rapskallion, Saoirse, Sammy J, Sásta, Shane Nicholson, Suzette Herft & The Heartstrings, Tolka, Totally Gourdgeous, Tom Richardson, The Twoks, Yirrmal And The Yolngu Boys

These artists join the likes of Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Madeleine Peyroux, Archie Roach, Pokey LaFarge, Ben Salter and Rose Cousins who were on the first announcement.

The event will take place across numerous locations in Port Fairy from Friday 7 through to Monday 10 March. Tickets are available from the festival website now.
